Bedouin Sinai

We work to support Sinai's Bedouin Community and aim to develop special projects in Dahab and SInai to assist them in generating sustainable income for their families. Our projets include handicraft development, promotion and business support for small bedouin business and soon we will start language classes. We work with the Sheikh of the mziena Tribe and also closely with sheikhs from other sinai tribes. This year we will make a dedicated website for Sinais bedouin community in both english and arabic.

Sustainable Tourism

We are forum members of a Uk based charity called the Travel Foundation. The travel foundation delivers information and guideance for travellers and desintations on how to make travel and tourism more sustainble. We at Spirit of Dahab are commtied to responsible tourism and have already started some work in this area. We believe in the 'good life' ( A bbc uk comedy TV show in the 1970's) was much laughted at then. but the story of tom and barbara was actually an example of sustainble living and was way ahead of its time!
